Berta Evans

Berta  Evans is a graduate of the restorative circle mediation training in 2021, and has varied life experiences.  She was born in Homestead Florida in 1961, and later moved to Gary Indiana when she was 4 years old. Berta Evans attended Horace Mann School, and later on graduated in 1981. Berta Evans moved to Minneapolis Minnesota in 1986 with her family, where they made Minnesota their permanent home. Berta went to school at Brown’s Institute, (Brown College) in 1997 and  received her A.A. degree in Business. She later worked at Job Corp. as a Resident Advisor in the girl’s dorm.

In 1999, Berta had to put her career on hold, because she had to care for one of her children that had a chronic illness. She then later on went through the RDH School of Ministries, at Shiloh Temple International Ministries, where she received her Bachelor of Arts, in Theology. Berta  later on went back to work, she got a job with Hennepin County, Evening Reporting Center, working with juvenile defenders.  After a while, Berta  was challenged to go back to school, and she took up a course at Academy College in 2018, and then received her Degree in Aviation. Berta  still lives in Minneapolis, and is writing a book about the struggles she had raising a sick child, which should be finished this year in 2021.
